I researched into where to go for the best surgeon for weight loss surgery for a while and came across Mr Hamouda.

From the very start, he listened to me and made me feel heard, going over each and every one of my concerns as well as the best options for me. I opted personally for the mgb and he ran over the procedure and what will happen on the day etc.

The day came and he put all my fears once again to rest and made me feel reassured and comfortable, making sure that everything was okay before going down. It all went to plan and he came to check on me, which again, took his time and was infinitely patient.

The follow-ups were amazing throughout and at no point was I made to feel rushed or that I was a number.

It was truly the best decision I ever made to use Mr Hamouda for the journey and he has helped me regain who I am as a person and have the confidence and energy to live life, and for that I will always be so grateful. A life changing decision to finally do something to improve my health and wellbeing came later in life for me.  Years of trying every diet and type of weight loss medication and still failing to control my weight gain. Battling with painful arthritic joints and age related conditions that at 61 meant the prospect of an unhealthy  miserable shorter old age I arranged to meet my wonderful surgeon.  The run up to the procedure was full of guidance and help from the dedicated team and very quickly I realised this was likely to be the only tool that could change my situation.  It was never an easy thing to do.  The thought of surgery was so scary but as soon as you get to the hospital  you are cared for by a wonderful  team of professionals who  take excellent care of you.  I found the first few days after surgery very hard. I think most people will question if they did the right thing!  This is short lived. Following  all the advice from the team helped.  Everyday you hit new goals and before you know it you have progress from liquid to purees  to soft food and solid food.  Before I had the Gastric Sleeve I could not see a time when I would be able to eat just what my body needed. The constant hunger has now gone even though my portion  sizes are small. One year on and I have gone from a dress size 20 to a 12.  My mobility is far better and I no longer need to take pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication daily. I highly recommend Mr Hamouda. After going through my medical history, my concerns and specific factors that led to my weight gain, Mr Hamouda suggested that I try Wegovy. Mr Hamouda took the time to clearly explain the options and process to me, including important lifestyle changes that were needed to increase my chances of success and possible side effects. The monthly follow up appointments gave me peace of mind and helped me stay on track. In September 2023 Mr Hamouda  operated on me  giving me a gastric sleeve to reduce the amount of food I could eat to enable me to lose weight and hopefully reduce the pain from arthritis. The operation was totally successful. I have lost 24 kilos and feel so much better with increased mobility. The whole process was very smooth. I highly recommend Dr. Hamuda and his team for gastric sleeve surgery. After three decades of weight management challenges and numerous unsuccessful diet attempts, I opted for this procedure. The entire process, from initial consultation through post-operative care, was handled with utmost professionalism. The surgery for me required only one night of hospitalization. Nine months post-operation, I've experienced a significant weight reduction of 37.5 kg, from 124.5 kg to 87 kg. While adapting to new dietary habits has presented some challenges, the overall outcome has been overwhelmingly positive. I've resumed regular exercise and feel a renewed sense of wellbeing. Mr Hamouda is a great Doctor. I recently had my gallbladder removed with him and everything went so well. I specifically asked for Mr Hamouda because he performed a gastric operation on me 5 years ago and I trusted him. Mr Hamouda is friendly, honest and very knowledgeable and I feel completely safe in his hands. Both my surgeries went well with no complications at all.
